Let's start the new year off by wishing all of our members and supporters a Very Happy New Year. We hope that at some time this year we'll be able to see a lot of people we haven't seen in a long time.

Couple of events happening this week. On Friday, Dec. 18 we will be hosting a Red Cross blood drive from 12 noon - 6 pm. To schedule an appointment visit www.redcrossblood.org or call 1 - 800 - RED CROSS. On Saturday, Dec. 19 we will be offering a Roast Pork Dinner from 4:30 - 6:30. This is a "take out only" dinner. The cost is $15 per person and all the proceeds will go to the Bob Church Memorial Fund to benefit Community Maternity Services in Albany. Christmas time truly is the most wonderful time of the year and Boy Scout Troop 1062 of Latham is once again trying to make it a wonderful time for the children of St. Catherine's Center for Children in Albany. They are asking for donations and this promo will give you all the information needed to make everyone's Christmas wishes come true. Please be generous. There is a drop off box in the front lobby of the Council building for donations.

We will be doing our Fish Fry dinner again this coming Friday, November 13th, from 4:30 pm til 6:30 pm. Please call in advance to reserve your dinner. See our promo here for complete details. Hope to see you Friday!

Mark your calendars again friends, on Thursday October 29th from 4pm to 7pm Brother Chris Gilboy and his taco food truck, El Carro del Taco will be making a return appearance at the Council.
