MVFD was very excited to host the Laurens Cub Scouts tonight. Below are some pictures of our walk-thru. FF Carson Shulgay also demonstrated a Midnight Alarm. We were honored to spend some time with these fine young members of our community and look forward to future visits!

Unless you want a visit from your local Fire Department we suggest that you dont try and cook your turkey in the deep fryer this way inside your home. Its best to do this outside in the driveway well away from your home,garage,vehicles or anything that can catch fire easily. And remember it is NOT safe to try and extinguish any grease/oil fires with water. It is best to have a fire extinguisher close by at all times while deep frying or cooking. Thank you to all involved in helping out with our MVA this afternoon. All worked well together. It was also great to see some civilians from the community pitching to help get tools off the trucks and get tools setup. Thank you all so much again Capt. B. Fink
