We take representation very seriously. When it came down to it, a story about New York has to be written by one who was born and raised in New York. And a story about New York for young people should be illustrated by a young New Yorker- also born and raised. It’s a heck of a town. And when Frank said If I could make here, I could make it anywhere.. he forgot to mention that while some people are making it here, some of us.... are making the here..... Coming soon. And have we got the for you.....

We’ve been working hard with two talented written storytellers and a visual storyteller. We are proud to say that our first book is about the magnificence of women. Coming in time for the holidays!

Aloha, Hola, Mabuhay, and Hello! It’s been quiet on our end, and we hope that you are all safe, healthy and happy as can be during these unprecedented times. We affirm our commitment to empowering and amplifying the voices and work of creators of color, and stand for justice for Breonna and George, and Tamar and Trayvon, and Michael and Eric and Sandra and Emitt, and all Black Lives past and present that were lost to state sanctioned and race motivated violence. ... We want to take a moment to mention that we have officially signed contracts with a dynamic duo of storytellers, and expect to have more signed. So be on the outlook for our Winter Reading List. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay Black and Brilliant and Beautiful. Or Brown and Brilliant. Xoxo, Kaleo Nadal, Creative Director And Bernabe Rey, spokeslion
