Spring Market is upon us! If you are looking to sell your home, not only should you clean the inside of your home but now that spring is here, you should also clean up the outside as well! Here are a couple tips for prepping the outside of your house. (Let’s face it, it’s all about the curb appeal!)... 1) Rake up all those dead leaves that have been sitting on your grass all winter long. By removing all the leaves, this will give your grass time to grow and shine. It will also give any fertilizer a better chance to work. 2) Mow your lawn and trim those bushes 3) Clean your gutters. You should be cleaning your gutters at least two times a year. If gutters are not cleaned and water overflows from the gutters, it will fall along the foundation of the building. This can soften the soil under and around it which will lead to foundation cracks. 4) Power wash the outside of your house and your deck. We just power washed our deck last summer, and let me tell you, it looks brand new! Now, let’s get your house ready from the outside-in before putting it on the market!
