Due to the recent restrictions on businesses from the state of NY, Lavender Moon will be closed until further notice. We will however, continue to take online and phone orders with the option to have it shipped or pick up. For pick up orders we will email you when the order is ready and arrange a time. Yes, we are open! We would like to offer that orders and payments can be made over the phone picked up on the porch of the shop at any time. We have elderberry elixir being made and bottled daily along with our hand sanitizer and room disinfectant spray! We also make a mighty immune boosting broth mix. The best way to reach us currently is over the phone, if there is no answer be sure to leave a message and we will get back to you! Otherwise, the shop will continue to stay open normal business hours for the time being! Thank you, and stay well!

We also offer curb-side pick up and local pick up at the Brighton farmers market on sundays from 9-1. Orders are usually ready within 24 hours, and if possible for same day pick-up. You will receive an email when your order is ready. It’s that time of year again! Beautiful Goldenrod catching the blame for all our allergy woes. However, as some of you may already know it’s really ragweed that is to blame! Somehow the two plants have been mixed up in case of mistaken identity for quite some time even though they couldn’t be more different! Goldenrod (as the name implies) sports beautiful, bright golden flowers. Where as rag weed hardly boasts any sort of flower at all. Plus the stem and leaf structure a...re very different. The only similarity between these plants seems to be when they bloom. Perhaps it is the abundance of showy goldenrod that causes people to blame it for their allergies so confidently. While ragweed sneakily does all of the dirty work. Ragweed is pollinated through the wind sending it’s pollen hundreds of miles creating chaos. Where as goldenrod is only pollinated through insects meaning you would need to stick your nose into the flower to get enough pollen to generate a histamine response. Goldenrod has many beneficial uses! We use it as a wonderful decongestant aid for sinuses, colds and flu in our Breathe Easy tea. It also gives a unique and enjoyable pine-like taste. So this late summer and fall don’t be afraid to add that bunch of Goldenrod to your fall bouquets! And be sure to spread the word of it’s good name. See more

SHOP HOURS: At this time we have made the decision to keep the Shop closed to visitors at least through the summer of 2020. We will post an update late summer with the possibility of limited Open hours for the fall and upcoming holiday season. Due to Covid-19 we are operating with a very limited staff (me)!
