Thoughtful and timely gift from wonderful clients whose green cards were just approved after previously being denied when they had applied through their prior immigration lawyer.
To those who will be fasting...
You might be eligible for TPS if you are from these countries and satisfy these requirements...
Client's previous lawyer was not successful at trial for cancellation of removal and the client was ordered deported. I subsequently got hired and Board of Immigration Appeals just gave us this incredibly huge victory. Client has another chance as case was remanded and this time, client is eligible for adjustment of status as client's child has submitted a family petition.
When I say that I'm an immigration lawyer who is an immigrant myself, I mean just that. And that's a photo of me. The "RE8" stands for child of refugee. I know what a lot of my clients go through as I too went through a "process" and ultimately thereafter became a U.S. citizen. #RefugeesWelcome #refugeestories
Huge victory at immigration court as a 1996 deportation order was reopened! Client now will have his day in court and an opportunity to get his green card!
Love my thoughtful clients who express their appreciation in a variety of ways! This is certainly welcome!
Submitting an adjustment of status application today. Guess what I did to the I-944?

TPS announced for Venezuelans! If you are a Venezuelan living in the USA without status, you should contact an immigration lawyer right away.
A spousal I-130 petition approved in less than three months? YES! All time record - during a pandemic!
Another happy client expressing his appreciation with something quite sweet... #immigrationattorney #immigration
ALL TIME PERSONAL RECORD - I-601 approved in less than two months. Client was deemed inadmissible after he and his previous immigration lawyer attended a green card interview where USCIS determined that he made a material misrepresentation. He subsequently hires me and within less than two months, he gets his waiver and green card approved. #immigration #immigrationlawyer #immigrationattorney
Just received more approvals without any interview for clients seeking to remove conditional status on their green card!
Just secured an approval for an I-751 waiver of the joint filing requirement for a very thoughtful client who offered flowers as a thank you gesture.
Another asylum granted! Fantastic way to start the week!
Another waiver approved, this time an I-601A provisional waiver of unlawful presence. Client can now go overseas to pursue her immigrant visa and become a permanent resident!
Love when I see these envelopes (containing clients' green cards or work authorization cards) in the mail...

*ALERT* breaking and devastating news concerning temporary protected status...
Prior denial of an N-600 successfully reopened! Client had gone previously to a Brooklyn-based immigration lawyer whose ineffective assistance resulted in client's denial. I successfully reopened the case based on prior counsel's ineffective assistance, pursuant to Matter of Lozada (BIA 1988), and client's case was subsequently reopened and his citizenship approved!
Amazing custom made box and candle gift from an amazing Egyptian client... I will forever cherish this.
This is ultimate satisfaction beyond words, belief and comprehension - helping an innocent indigenous Central American victim of severe human, sexual and labor trafficking obtain T-1 visa status in the United States. My client, who is in deportation proceedings, will now have an opportunity to stay in America. Now THIS is the right way to start the work week.
Client's citizenship application was stuck for well over two years. I submit a draft 8 USC 1447(b) complaint, and this magic happens today.
I got this husband and wife asylum in immigration court a few years ago; now they just became permanent residents! Amazingly rewarding for me, having arrived originally to the US as a child refugee myself.
**BIG WIN** USCIS issues my client a relatively uncommon 204(l) humanitarian relief grant where husband petitioner died before my client, the wife beneficiary, obtained her green card, and therefore, this enables her to still pursue her green card.
USCIS mostly increases filing fees - this will become effective October 2, 2020. If you're considering filing for an immigration benefit that you're eligible for, you should consider acting fast before the price increase on most forms including an over 80% filing fee increase for citizenship.
Multiple I-751s approved with no interview needed!
