LCAC in action: Great morning collecting unused and expired prescription drugs for safe disposal. Thank you to our coalition member volunteers, Nassau County Police Department, YES Community Counseling Center, Town of Hempstead Supervisor and our legislators, Tom McKevitt and John Ferretti for their support and helping to collect 25 bags of drugs. This Saturday LCAC is hosting a Drug Take Back. Turn in your unused and expired medications safely. We will be available from 9:30 - 12:30 PM at Wisdom Lane Elementary School, 120 Center Lane. PS. We can not accept liquids or Syringes but will have information on alternative locations available at the event.
