Today we elevate our voices with working women, #Trabajadoras whose wages are still subject to the discriminatory and unfair gender #wagegap. In comparison to w...hite non-Hispanic men, AAPI women earn 85 cents for every dollar, for women in general the average wage gap is 82 cents to the dollar. Latinas are at the very tail end of the wage gap, earning only 55 cents to the dollar! We must continue to advocate for ALL women. #NationalEqualPayDay #Trabajadoras

56 years ago, John Lewis & 600 other advocates who marched for voting rights were brutally attacked by police in Selma, AL. Dozens were hospitalized or injured.... As we remember #BloodySunday, we must honor their legacy by creating a democracy that works for us all. #RestoreTheVRA LCLAA - Los Angeles ChapterLCLAA MilwaukeeLCLAA PittsburghLabor Council for Latin American Advancement - Sacramento AFL- CIO (LCLAA)Lclaa Ventura ChapterLCLAA - Los Angeles ChapterLCLAA of Long IslandLCLAA San Diego-Imperial CountiesSouth Florida LCLAALCLAA ConnecticutLCLAA Las VegasCentral Florida Labor Council for Latin American Advancement ChapterCesar Chavez March, Sacramento LCLAA Afl-CioLabor Council for Latin Americans - lclaa, New York CityLclaa PhillyChicago Metro LCLAALCLAA - DC Metro Chapter

A...s we remember #BloodySunday, Congress must #RestoreTheVRA and ensure our democracy works for every voter.
