Beautiful day at @schenectadygreenmarket today!

It's finally here! This simple yet ingenious machine is going to allow us to drastically increase our production of things like beets, onions, salad greens and much more this year. And we're going to need itin addition to @schenectadygreenmarket and @gffarmersmarket , Leaning Birch Farm will be at @saratogafarmersmarket as well this summer! It arrived yesterday afternoon and already before today's rain we've gotten over 6000 plants in the ground. Now it's time to watch the rain water it all in and get ready for the next round.

It's looking to be a very good garlic year so far!

Our farm is being featured this week by Schenectady Greenmarket. This is the last Sunday outside...come see us!

No doubt in our mindsthis is the finest broccolini our garden has produced! It's on its way to @schenectadygreenmarket tomorrow morning! Get there at 10:00 if you want to get in on it! You'll find us at the Clinton St entrance.

They may not all be this big, but we are super ecstatic about this ginger we just dug up! You'll start finding it over the next few weeks at our market displays, starting tomorrow at @schenectadygreenmarket

Beautiful Redwing onions taste even better than they look. This season was a great one for all of our onion crops, growing much bigger and better than we've ever seen before. Come and get some of these big boys today at the Glens Falls Farmers Market from 8-12, and at the Schenectady Greenmarket from 10-2. We'll have tons of other delicious and nutritious veggies as well. This is peak harvest time for us. Enjoy the bounty while it lasts!
