Our Council's newest Eagle Scouts!
Congratulations Mallorie & Sam! Video interviews with both will be published soon. We issued a press release last night as Mallorie Christine Bomba is our Council's first female Scout to achieve BSA'S highest rank. Mallorie's brother Christopher became an Eagle Scout in 2007 and her mother Lori is Scoutmaster. They have four new girls in their unit that Mallorie helped to recruit.... It was a pleasure to enjoy this moment with two proud Scouting familes! LEATHERSTOCKING COUNCIL CELEBRATES FIRST FEMALE EAGLE SCOUT https://www.linkedin.com//leatherstocking-council-celebrat
Our Council's Scouts are once again out there helping our community with spring clean up!
One very proud - and extremely helpful Eagle Scout candidate's mother! Thank you, Jill!
Rest in peace, Mr. Devlin. Thank you for your service.
The Leatherstocking Council's annual report will be published online and a postcard will be sent to current donors with the web address. If you or someone you know would prefer a hard copy, please let us know: [email protected], or 315-735-4437, ext. 223.
Attention Eagle Scout Alumni, if you participate in one of these estate planning workshops, you'll be invited to another great reception this fall, probably at Delmonicos Italian Steakhouse - Utica again! Looking forward to seeing you again, albeit in a socially distanced format.
Please join us for thanking Eagle Scout Alumnus Brendan Kelley for his efforts to put our council in the national spotlight again!
We thought this might be of interest to our Eagle Scout Alumni. Thank you all for what you do to support Scouting in our community. https://blog.scoutingmagazine.org//stephen-d-bechtel-jr-/
Many of our Eagle Scout alumni will remember Dave Manore. He served on the Eagle Scout review board for close to forty years. A great Boy Scout who lived the Scout Oath and Law every day.
Eagle Scout Alumni, please drop by your local Stewart's Shops and thank them for expanding their support!
In case you missed them, here are some photos from this month's nationally recognized Blizzard Camp at Camp Kingsley!
For all you golfers out there, this looks like a pretty amazing nest for some Eagle Scout Alumni to bid on in order to support local Scouting programs! Thank you New York Sash!!
A great way to support your local Scouts!
