Ok to everyone I have to let you know that the hours posted on my shop Facebook page are wrong. I want to fix it but don’t know how to. My hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 am till 5 pm. If someone can help me fix this please call me. Thank you, Libbey

My great grandson got his quilt in the mail today. Momma sent pictures

I want to share a project that I just finished. I had started it last May for my great grandson that was not even born yet. I then had the loss of my brother in law, followed by the death of my sister in September and the end of November the death of my mother. This time of loss and morning put a damper on my completing the project until just this month. I am ready to send it in the mail for the little man, but I wanted to put it on my website first.

I suspect it is hard to love a nurse. We get up before the sun, or work through the night on the night shift, or work all day then get called in for more work. ...We don't have time to eat dinner at home each night or concentrate about the schedule of events for the week. We come home late and are too tired to cook and clean. We work extra because we know there are sick people who need us. We miss weekend events, holidays, school plays, games and birthdays. We don't get too excited over your minor "boo-boo" or "sore throat". We have seen far far worse only hours ago. We don't want to talk when we come home because we have talked all day. We don't want to move when we come home because we have walked, sometimes ran, pushed, pulled and carried all day. It may seem that we have left all our caring, our heart, and our love at work then have come home to you empty. We probably have but don't mean to be that way. But we don't tell you that many times at work we are mired by anxiety, we are scared we are missing something, scared we will let our patient down or worse, scared that we'll have to deal with angry or violent patients and families, worried that this last ditch procedure won't work, worried that the best CPR just won't save this one. We don't tell you how the staffing crisis magnifies all of the above. I suspect it is hard to love a nurse, but know this: Your nurse needs your love. Needs your understanding. Needs to know that you "get it". Needs to be the one taken care of every once in a while. Needs someone else to take charge of the details (PLEASE) because doing it all constantly is exhausting. Needs to know it's ok and it's all worth it. Needs a shoulder to cry on when she can't even tell you why she's grieving. Needs you to do the hardest work you may ever do, which is to love a nurse. I would like to thank those of you out there who love us and let us do this work, this calling, this life: Nursing. So thank you my family and close friends!!! I have been so busy with prom dresses. I finished all of them on Thursday an had a flower girl dress to finish. I worked Friday and Saturday and got that finished. Then today Sunday I started the 11 dance costumes I am making. I have 9 all cut out and had to call it a day. I will get back to work on Monday and hopefully be finished by Thursday. I will show a picture when I am finished.

I am having fun with my needle felting. I won a prize with the picture I felted. Ian having classes to teach others the joy of needle Felting. Check my website for classes or contact information. For private lessons.

Hi Everyone, I am very excited. My classes are starting up again. I have several coming up. I am going to have a beginners sewing in February..15,22,& march 1. I am having a needle felting class in March 8, 15, & 22. All the information is on my website.
