Tween Book Club will be saying goodbye to "Odd and the Frost Giants" for our last winter meeting today 3/1, but have no fear! Tween Book Club will resume in the Spring with our new book "The Janitors" By: Tyler Whitesides. Tween Book Club is for tweens/teens ages 10-13 and occurs every Monday starting March 29th from 4-4:45pm via google meetings. Registration is required - please e-mail [email protected] for registration or questions regarding this program.

Hello all! First; I want to give a huge shout out to the parents/grandparents/caregivers who have all been stretch way to thin during this pandemic and are still going. You are awesome! Second I want to thank all the parents/grandparents/caregivers who registered for Dial a Story today (2/2). It was so great so see you all, and let the kids virtually browse our shelves. ... We are continuing Dial a Story throughout the month of February so the next day to book a 15 min mini story-time is next Tuesday 2/9. Yes we will still do Dial a Story even though we are having a live story-time that day. How does this work? Reserve your time slot on a Tuesday morning. Meeting spots start at 10:00am. We will let you know available time slots when you e-mail. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to ensure the right address. Day of the event Ms. Ronnie will send you a link to join a Google Meeting which will be a digital voice/video meeting. You can join from any valid email address. It does not have to be gmail. How will it be structured? When you log on we will do introductions, share a quick rhyme/finger play (developmental level dependent), a story, and then do a mini tour to allow for book selection. Each meeting will run about 15 minutes. Book selections will be bundled and checked out on your card for curbside pickup. How do you register? Easy! Send Ms. Ronnie an e-mail at [email protected]. The email should include the parent/caregiver's name, child's name, child's age, and the email you would like to register for the meeting with. Once we have that we can let you know which times are available. First come first serve.

Our tweens have spoken and so it shall be: The next book of Tween Book Club will be Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. For this session of book club members will be sorted into houses and be awarded point for triumphs, any rule breaking and you will lose your house points. *Professor McGonagall stare* Next session starts on Monday November 16th. Tween Book Club is every Monday during 11/16-12/28 from 4-4:45pm. Books will be available for pick up for tweens who are registered starting 11/2.

Join in to hear haunting tales from around the North Country and be presented with an opportunity to share your own on Wednesday October 28th from 6-7pm. If you are a Brasher Tween and would like to pick up your book at the Badenhausen Library please let me know and I will send it along.
