L.I.F.E.E. Organization is a Grassroots organization that formed in 2013 in the pre-stages of the #BlackLivesMatter movement fighting against systemic racism, the school to prison pipeline, police brutality and poverty. The goal is to help provide as much assistance as possible to those in the Black, Brown and Indigenous communities who are victims of injustice and poverty. Project L.I.F.E.E. is an umbrella action under L.I.F.E.E. Organization that will help rebuild our commu...nities and build to provide the resources that we need, but have been denied to us by this corrupt system. (Feeding the homeless, food and clothing for those in need, school supplies for children, rent assistance for those victimized by corrupt landlords and gentrification, summer outings for teens and young adults, School Scholarships for the Youth, Know Your Rights Materials/Training, Adopt A Family for the Holidays and much more.) I saw a need and helped to answer the call by helping to remove graffiti at the Philip Howard Apartments on Flatbush Avenue in the 45th Council District. It always feels good to selflessly serve the community and I plan to do even more when you elect me as your City Council Member on June 22, 2021. I commend and thank DPH Property Maintenance Service for being on the scene early in the morning and always providing high quality service to members of the community (tenants, homeowners, business owners, etc) with their needs. Community Youth and Young Adult Resource Initiative: Upon being elected in 2021, I Anthony Beckford, will make it one of my priorities to make sure that there is adequate funding to bring back arts and music programs to our schools and fund community based organizations with funding for arts and music programs in our communities.
