On Tuesday we recognized our extraordinary physicians for National Doctors’ Day! We are proud of the service St. James physicians provide to patients on a daily basis, and we thank them for their remarkable leadership, flexibility and response during the pandemic.

Congratulations to newly appointed Hornell firefighters Chad Hancock and Mike Robbins. Both were appointed today by the Board of Public Safety.

On Thursday, April 1st, 2021, the Wellsville Fire Department assisted our friends at one of our local businesses with hanging a new windsock at Tall Pines ATV P...ark . Firefighters from Engine 1 and Ladder 9 took a little bit of time to head to the Farm and put up the new windsock donated by LifeNet 7-7 . Windsocks are periodically replaced to make sure that flight crews coming to assist grounds units from the Andover Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc. , the Andover Fire Department, and all of the mutual aid agencies that might be involved during medical and trauma emergencies are kept safe and able to land appropriately. The Wellsville Fire Department is always happy to be able to assist our citizens and mutual aid agencies any time that we can. While enroute to the assist, the Wellsville Fire Department responded to a Fire Alarm at a high risk occupancy in the Town. Ladder 9 was assisted by Firefighters from Engine 1.
