MONTHLY FAST DAY TWO. GOOD MORNING BELOVED FRIENDS, You are welcome to the second day of our fast. As stated Yesterday the theme of The Month is DIVINE ILLUMINATION AND MANIFESTATION. Revelation is what brings us enlightenment. Amos 3:7:- Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets. Three main things stand out here. ... 1. Revelation preceeds performance 2. Where there is No Revelation there is no Performance 3. God has secrets which can only be known by revelation. There are about four categories of revelation 1. The revelation of who God is (Father, Son and The Holy Ghost) 2. Revelation into the Word of God 3. Revelation into the realms of the spirit( spiritual activities) 4. Revelation of knowledge of the past or future. -Revelation makes us stand out in the crowd -Revelation moves us from the Physical to the Spiritual. - Revelation moves us from the Natural to the Supernatural - Revelation moves us from the Ordinary to the Extraordinary. Revelation is what will make people listen to you. No one wants to hear what he already knows. So in our relationship with God and life in general, Revelation is paramount. REVELATION BRINGS ILLUMINATION AND ILLUMINATION RAISES OUR FAITH AND INCREASE IN FAITH CHANGES OUR REACTION TO THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE. In the story of Elisha and his servant, all his fears dissipated when his eyes were opened to see that in the realms of the spirit Jerusalem was protected by Chariots of horses and fire.2 Kings 6:17- So its obvious that our reaction to the issues of life depends on the level of our illumination. Today we focus on Praying for Divine Illumination or Revelation. Main Scriptures: Amos 3:7; Jeremiah 33:3; Proverbs 29:18 1. Pray that God gives you Divine Illumination so that you function in the level of revelation as a spiritual being. 2. Pray that no event ever takes you by surprise again, but you will be well prepared by revelation into the future. Nothing took our Lord by surprise, He knew all things. 3. Pray that God gives you a revelation of anyone or anything that stands in the way of you living a progressive successful and prosperous life, and to give you the grace and wisdom to deal with them. 4. Paul said, I have given to you what I received from the Lord( 1 Corinthians 11:23). -Pray that God will give you revelations in the word so you can also give out from the level of Revelation. 5. Pray that God gives you spiritual enlightenment so you can also be a blessing to others or meet their needs from the level of revelation.
