MOBILE RALLY/CAR PARADE Families Rally to Save Vital Services for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Thursday, September 17th... Please arrive at the front gate at 930 Willowbrook Road no earlier than 10:45 am. This is the only entry point for car rally participants. Upon arrival you will be directed where to line up your car. Laura Kennedy, Parent Advocate will share some brief words on the significance of September 17th, the 33rd Anniversary of the closure of Willowbrook State School by Mario Cuomo The Parent Advocacy will address the horrendous concerns that advocates and families have about the future of services for the developmentally disabled. All participants must remain inside or next to your vehicle, please wear a mask and we ask that you do not congregate into groups. At the end of the kickoff, you will be directed on how to exit and to proceed with the Mobile Rally. On your back window, please write the following: Gov.
