Nassau BOCES’ schools and offices will be open tomorrow, December 18. All programs, except the Jerusalem Avenue School and Seaman Neck Middle School, will be in person. Jerusalem Avenue School and Seaman Neck Middle School will remain remote on December 18.

Our outdoor classes grabbed media attention as CBS, NBC and Newsday visited the LIHSA campus today. Stories to run tonight starting at 5 p.m.
Students in the Lighting, Design and Electrics class worked on their understanding of electricity by creating a simple circuit with a switch. By understanding the flow of electricity, equipment requirements, and how things are put together, they will be more prepared for "rigors" of "rigging" lighting instruments and maintaining theatrical lighting equipment.
Teaching artists from Notes in Motion Outreach Dance Theatre work on techniques and choreography with students in our Indian Dance class.
We're excited to welcome back teaching artists from the American Ballet Theatre who are working with both our Ballet I and Ballet III dancers.
Students use the new singers' masks. We're serious about safety and singing!
