Interesting article from the NY Times in collaboration with the appraiser Samuel Miller about the recovery of the NYC real estate market post-Lehman Brothers Collapse and 9/11. Most agents I know are predicting a recovery similar to 9/11. Time will tell, but I too, at this point, am expecting a sharp rebound in the housing market. Currently, while inventory is very low, it's hard to say how depressed prices may be once the economy opens up, but I don't anticipate a long window for buyer opportunity to secure discounts before pent up buyer demand pushes prices up again. #realestate #nycrealestate #nycrealestatemarket

Having access to private outdoor space right now is worth its weight in gold. Here's my pick of some of the best properties on the market in Park Slope right no...w that offer just that. People ARE buying during the Covid crisis, many taking the opportunity to negotiate below ask offers. The process has changed somewhat though, with virtual viewings, necessary Covid related contract clauses, virtual closings and changing mortgage lending protocols. If you'd like advice on navigating the process effectively and most of all SAFELY, reach out. I'm happy to provide you all the info you need and help you strategize should you be looking to move anytime soon See more
