I was fortunate enough to intern at Vogue magazine in the fashion closet, end it was there that I got meet this Legend.We developed a strong bond in a short time period. One day he pulled me aside to go on a ‘secret mission’ to deliver something to Oscar De La Renta’s home in NYC. He told me, I picked you, you get it girl, never let go of your confidence, smile and always looking chic as you do now go! That moment will never be forgotten in my mind, and I often replay it in my head when I need a push. I wish to this day that I could find the picture of us 4 interned when we worked with him. RIP to a kind gifted and loved soul. You will be greatly missed.
