ATTENTION:::: HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE There will be an Hunter Education course on February 24 at the St. Lawrence Valley club off Rt. 37 near Red Mills sign u...p begins on February 1 REGISTRATION and the REQUIRED MANUAL and work manual are on line at the following address http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/92267.html All Hunter Education Courses require the completion of homework prior to attending the course. Proof of completed homework ---- MUST -----be brought to the course. Do (NOT) Take and complete an online course. There is --- NO ---cost to the NYS Hunter Ed course When you request down load of the manual and work sheet they will ask for payment. Continue right on as NYS pays for it ----- you will receive it for free. You --- DO NOT ----have to print the manual as you will be provided one at the class Down load the work sheet, print it, complete it and bring it with you to the class Students 11 to 16-years old must have a signed permission slip (PDF, 106 KB) from a parent or legal guardian to allow for the handling and shooting of a firearm during this course.
