Little Dog House 02.05.2021

I don’t know if I’ve officially introduced Grady’s pal and LDH pack member, Comet! He’s super handsome and very cuddly. We’re working on the separation issues that most pups are going, or will go, through as their families spend more time away from the house. But he’s doing awesome. He gets very excited to come over for the day and will stay in the apartment with Grady and no two/legged s with little or no concern! Yay Comet!

1st hike was amazing! I can’t wait for next one! Send your pup out of the City for some fun and exercise! Your dog will come home very happy, tired and ready for cuddling (many times even into the next day.... I’m offering a free daycare visit (a few hours) prior to any dog’s first trips, so your dog can be familiar with me, and I them, before our day together. The trip is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20th. We’ll be hiking the Three Lakes Trail at Fahnestock State Park in Philipstown, NY. The hike is a 6 mile easy/beginner hike that all dogs will enjoy (we had a 12 year old with us yesterday). There are several streams, lakes and ponds for wading or swimming. I bring all necessities, such as plenty of water, high protein snacks and first aid kit. I use a GPS driven hiking trail map just in case of any emergency If you’re interested in having your pup join us, please get in touch as soon as possible as space is very limited. We depart from Stuy Town in the morning and return sometime in the late afternoon. Dogs are welcome to stay at my place as late as you need (just need food for dinner). They’ll be passed out anyway! I’m happy to speak with you to provide any additional information you need, and to discuss your dogs needs and wants. ALL DOGS MUST BE TREATED WITH SOME FLEA AND TICK PROTECTANT PRIOR TO THE DAY OF THE HIKE! (I recommend K9 Advantix but any treatment is fine).
