Liverpool Indoor Percussion is ready to welcome you for the modified 2021 season. January 20th from 6pm-8pm at Wetzel Rd. Please bring paperwork filled out, sticks and pads if you have them.

Just a reminder all Winterguard participants must have your forms forms into Mr. Perry in order to participate in the winter season. These forms must be turned in no later than Friday, January 22. Practice starts this week!

From the NYSFBC: Today is the day! I know we all wish we were in the Dome. Luckily some of our programs have been able to perform in some capacity this fall, and hopefully a year from now we will be inside the newly renovated Dome celebrating together. Luckily we were able to provide a couple of outlets for our students this fall, and the results of these projects will be revealed this afternoon. I sincerely want to thank all of you who helped or encouraged your students t...o participate. Our senior class deserved recognition. Hopefully our virtual project will give the students, and the programs they represent, a lot of pride and proof that good things can happen when you don't give up. Mostly, I hope that newfound friendships and respect have been built between our students and programs. I would like to say thank you to everyone who helped make this season happen. Instead of pushing props or taking attendance on a bus or chaperoning all hours of the night on a trip, you folks did other things like making sure the meals were there for the students on Saturdays, that anything the staff needed was taken care of ahead of time...or...on the spot. Most importantly...staying away during practices to ensure we were playing 'by the rules' when you probably wanted no...thing more than to 'hang on the hill' to support your child(ren). These sacrifices are just as important as any instructional or administrative efforts. The students did themselves and the program proud with their efforts this season. When you consider: - getting music online roughly one week before practices started and being expected to have it memorized ASAP; - rehearsals that were an hour shorter than they normally are; - PPP to be worn while performing (and the adjustments that went with working around that); - 15' spacing (which isn't easy to perform musically...); - 9 rehearsals (due to the one 'rained out' day) and only 3 Saturday 'camps' to prepare an approximately 5 minute show; - Knowing that the 'season' had to be completed by this weekend per the regional school district administrators. Add all that up and it makes for a truly daunting challenge that your children rose to the occasion to accomplish. As I told them on their Google Classroom earlier today...they showed that the mindset of focusing on a season based on competitive outcomes was outweighed by a season of simply the enjoyment of gathering together (socially distanced) to share their common enjoyment of the marching pageantry arts. Thank you all again for your efforts in making this season happen. Never more has the adage 'it takes a village' been more fitting. Enjoy the rest of the fall and please be safe! Mr. Dumas

SPIRIT WEAR IS IN! There are some backorders but they will be available within the next 2 weeks. Some people did select to have shipped to their home and and those orders have already all shipped. There are a few items that are backordered and will available within the next 2 weeks. I will be at WRE circle tomorrow morning at 8:30am until 8:45am for anyone who wants to pickup. Tomorrow is a big day for our LHS Marching Band! See the link for the live stream below. All students were given their show shirts and an envelope with their allotted tickets yesterday. (Only 2 students did not and will receive tomorrow morning) Some important things you need to know: *Tentative start time is between 4:45-5:00. *Attached to your tickets is a Covid questionnaire that you must bring already filled out along with your tickets in order to be allowed into the st...adium. There will be questionnaires in the event you forgot yours, but there are no extra tickets available. You MUST have your tickets in order to gain entry to the stadium. *Masks must be worn. They can be removed once you are seated. *We are reserving the seating on the 50 yd line for our senior families *Seating will be taped out and you can only sit in the available seating areas. *Entry into the stadium will begin at 4:30. *Senior recognition will take place after the performance. It will be announced when it is time for the senior families to join their student on the field for the senior walk *Awards ceremony for all members will take place directly after Senior recognition. WINDS and PERCUSSION: important info for Saturday! You will be wearing black Dinkles for your performance. We realize that some of you are new and don't own them, and that others of you may have outgrown yours. The Boosters have shoes to lend, so no worries. If you have black Dinkles, try them on before Thursday to see if they fit. If not -- or if you don't own them -- let us know by Thursday so we can give the uniform committee a heads-up. You may not get something that is ...perfect, but we'll find you something that will work. ADDENDUM: if you HAVE shoes that no longer fit and are in decent condition, please consider donating them.
