Happy #48HFP weekend! Except, unfortunately the Buffalo 48 Hour Film Project has been postponed until further notice. Very disappointing. So for #FilmWorkFriday enjoy a revisit to our film from the 2019 48 Hour Film Project, "Stages" starring Cortney Costanzo, Steve Abbott and Stacy Kowal. Stages was nominated for multiple awards including Best Film, Best Writing, Best Directing, Best Actor (Cortney Costanzo) and Fan Favorite. It was the winner of one 48-Hour Creativity Award for best delivery of the required line of dialogue. 2019 was the first year for On Broad Street Productions as a filming team, and we challenged ourselves to make an emotionally moving film that people can relate to. Happy Independence Day! As you celebrate (safely!) today, keep in mind the ideals written into the documents that led to the founding on this nation: The Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution. Remember, those ideals apply to all Americans, and since anyone in the world should be able to apply for citizenship in America, by extension, those ideals should apply to all of the people around the world. Consider how you are truly supporting those ideals, after all, those ideal are what this nation was founded upon. Without them, America is just another nation.
