It is with great sadness that the Officers and Members of the Livingston Manor Fire Dist announce the passing of 63 year member Fred Emery Jr. Fred was a past Chief and past Commissioner of the LMFD and was an active member until his passing. He will be greatly missed. Rest Easy Chief we've got it from here.

639 AM EDT Tue Sep 22 2020 ...ELEVATED RISK FOR FIRE SPREAD TUESDAY ACROSS OTSEGO, DELAWARE, AND SULLIVAN COUNTIES IN CENTRAL NY...... An elevated risk for fire spread will exist for the daytime hours across the Catskills. The prolonged period of dry weather has resulted in low fuel moisture. Additionally, low relative humidity and gusty winds are expected today. Gusty winds would lead to a potential for any fires that can escape initial containment to spread and potentially become serious.
