The Sunny Side of Solar

I have spent my entire adult life working to create a better future for children. As a business owner, educator, and camp administrator, I have been fortunate to positively impact thousands of children and young adults. One lesson that I've tried to teach my own children is that they should leave the world better than they found it. So when my son, Marc, taught me about the benefits of solar energy, I felt a profound sense of pride that he was helping people save money, while... protecting the environment for the next generation. Over the last 6 years, Marc's passion became my passion. But at first I had the usual questions any person unfamiliar with solar would have. "Does this really work?" "Is this just a fad, a trend, or some kind of scheme?" "Is it more expensive than what I'm paying now?" But the more I learned about it, the more simple the idea became, and the more I understood solar to be a legitimate alternative to paying the utility company for electricity. Once I became educated with the facts, I understood why the industry was growing so fast, and why it makes sense to everyday people like you and I. Everyone likes the idea of helping the environment, and I learned that it doesn't cost them more to do so, it costs less. My job is to educate the homeowner, and find the right solution for their expectation and particular situation. My job is to keep more money in people's pockets, guard them against inflation, and ultimately show them how they can eliminate their electricity bills. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to help and impact my community. Solar is the right way forward, and I can confidently show you why.
