LMC Advanced Program in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry

Congratulations to Dr. Kara Slavik (PGY-2) for presenting a poster on a collaboration with Dr. Mike Roig (PGY-2) of the Manhattan VA Perio program! This past weekend at the Academy of Osseointegration Annual Meeting in San Diego, Dr. Slavik and Dr. Roig shared their research on an enhanced approach to immediate implant placement, using just the molar to be extracted.

3 years later--our first class graduated! Congrats to Dr. Daniel Narain, Dr. Ryan Jenkins, and Dr. Kennie Kwok! We could not have asked for a better class to lead this program and pave the way for many more perio residents to come.
