U.S. Marine, Sgt Johanny Rosario (25) U.S. Marine, Cpl Hunter Lopez (22) U.S. Marine, LCpl Kareem Nikoui (22) U.S. Marine, LCpl Rylee McCollum (20) U.S. Marine,... LCpl Jared Schmitz (20) U.S. Marine, LCpl David Lee Espinoza (20) U.S. Navy, Maxton Soviak (20) U.S. Marine, SSGT Taylor Hoover (31) U.S. Marine, Cpl Daegan Page (23) U.S. Army, SSGT Ryan Knauss (23) U.S. Marine, Cpl Humberto Sanchez (22) U.S. Marine, Sgt Nicole Gee (23) U.S. Marine, LCpl Dylan Merola (20) U.S. Marine, LCpl Ricky Thompson (21) (Was not in Kabul, but did pass away this week Aug. 24th) 13 U.S. Service Members killed in Afghanistan on Thursday and slowly they’re releasing the names of those who have passed. It didn’t hit me hard yesterday but it was on my mind all day. But once I saw the names, pictures, their stories and etc, shit hit me like a truck. There are thousands of Marines wishing they were in Afghanistan fighting along side our brothers and sisters that are out there right now. Keep fighting and stay safe. To those that were injured I’m hoping you make a healthy and safe recovery. Rest In Peace to all the members we lost in Kabul on August 26th and all we’ve lost in the past. Remember their names. Remember them. Till Valhalla Edit: thank you to those that messaged me and helped in updating the post. Regardless if a Marine has passed from suicide, training accidents, KIA, and etc it always hits us because in the military we are all connected to one another. We care for one another like family. One of my favorite things about joining the military is the unbreakable bond I have with other Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, and etc. Once again to those we’ve lost this week, last month, last year, and in the past, you are loved so very much by your families, friends and people around you. Rest easy.
