I really don’t know if it’s more the sights or the smell that fill my heart every time I walk into the sap house. So many memories.

It may be a gray and dreary day but on Long-Year Farm we know spring is on the way. We are ready for a season of renewel and for the smell of sweetness in the air.

Our turkeys are all sold out for this year. If you placed an order there will be pick up times scheduled for Sunday 11/22, Monday 11/23 and Tuesday 11/24 in the late afternoon/evening (Wednesday 11/25 if necessary). The price per pound is $4.50. I will contact you on Sunday 11/22 to give you your total and arrange your pick up time. All social distancing protocols will be in place for pick up and masks are necessary. Thank you!

Making egg collecting a little more glamorous.

Finding the time to do the things you never thought you’d get to. I needed a little break from sewing masks so I attempted an egg apron.

A few new family members checking us out. I was just so happy that one didn’t go any further up my sleeve. You can see the drop of rain/snow on the bottom right... bee’s wing.
