Flier from UUFN for Imbolc... ----- UUFN Imbolc Ritual 2/2/22 Imbolc is first spring. It is a time of hope, healing, & community. The sacred wheel of life is ...moving toward the light. Imbolc Ritual 02/02/22 on zoom 7pm EST Hosted by Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Newark DE. Send a request to attend- [email protected] ask for Imbolc link You will be sent a link via email the day of the ritual. There are two ways to be at this ritual. You can just tune in and passively watch it like a TV show, (you are welcome to do so) or you can participate in the rituals along with the practitioners. Here is what you need to gather ahead of time: Wear white clothing, have a table space for your altar Have a taper candle and matches (Make sure you candle is on a fire safe service) Water (moon, tap water, your own special water) A few drops of milk (plant milk is ok) kept separate. Seeds of any kind. Scrying Bowl, Crystal ball, black mirror. (a Scrying is a bowl about the size of a soup bowl that is black or very dark, if you don’t have that, a clear bowl placed on a black surface or cloth will suffice.) Cake & Ale- (snack/beverage to enjoy at the end for grounding) We will call the quarters, engage in rituals, scry, meditate, sing songs & chants, have social time. Join The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Newark Delaware as we honor the Goddess Brigid and celebrate Imbolc. Whether you circle regularly, or you are a solitary practitioner, no matter your gender, or how your practice manifests itself. (You don’t have to be UU).
