Composer JOHN MEYER announces the sale of his JUDY GARLAND collection (1968-69): Mr. Meyer achieved renown when Judy sang four of his songs on national television in 1968. These songs served as the springboard for an intimate relationship with the iconic singer, which lasted a brief eight weeks, and which Meyer later chronicled in his memoir, Heartbreaker. Along the way, Judy, like the Flying Dutchman, scattered bits and pieces of herself wherever she landed, including Meyer’s apartment.
