Good morning! Today I am having a charity clothing sale at the studio 1-5pm. I'll be selling the 15 totes of beautiful clothes I've saved over the years, especially from my modeling days. There will be everything from ALOT of dresses, blouses, jeans, slacks, skirts, coats, jackets, tshirts, tanks, blouses, and more. The sizes range from 10/12-18/20, most of them being 14/16. From Medium- XXL, most X-Large, 0x, 1x, and some 2x. I have always had a classic style, nothing too ...trendy so my clothes have transcended time. Lots of quality designers like Michael Kors, Alfani, Style & Co, etc... Everything is clean and in great condition, some things were never worn and still have the tags. Everything will be given on a "make an offer" price. Proceeds will be donated to the Ananda organization who help people around the world. I never had the heart to donate my beautiful clothes to other organizations where the money mostly goes to lining the pockets of executives. Jessica teaching a young ladies empowerment group today at Riverhead High School, where she graduated from high school. It was soo rewarding to be able to teach these young women all the things that I wish I knew when I was their age. They learned breathing techniques to be calm in anxious or difficult situations, the importance of self care- detaching their mind from outter involvement and tuning into their spirit to find peace and happiness within. And most importantly, tha...t the power of their mind, their will and intention is the most powerful thing that they have, and no one can take it away from them. We also did some asanas (yoga poses) which was just the icing on the cake. These were all tools for life that I wish I was taught earlier on in life. Most people think yoga is just a workout... yoga is soo much more, a work-in and a way to find balance in this crazy world and live your life in peace.
