Trauma in Children During the Covid-19 Pandemic Across the world, and in different ways, we are experiencing confusing, stressful, and at times very scary infor...mation and experiences related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our worlds of work and learning, our physical and emotional connections to others, where we play, exercise, eat, travel, and what we hear and see on the news and on social media have changed. Many have lost multiple loved ones to the Corona-19 virus, and may have become infected and ill ourselves. This may have resulted in having our lives forever changed. Many with family members, who reside within and outside of the United States, have had the extreme experience of not being able to see or bury loved ones, nor partake in family centered grief rituals which does not allow for the safety and validation of community nor support.
