In lieu of the recent weather patterns, we felt it necessary to bring our frustrations to the public. This industry is not for the faint of heart. Not only are we seal coaters, pavers, line stripers, and project coordinators, but we also have become meteorologists. With the threats of rain on the radar, the pop-up showers on an otherwise sunny day, and the unbearable heat and humidity, our jobs become extremely difficult and the last thing we want to do is make our customers ...unhappy. We understand that having your driveway rescheduled or having to wait a longer period of time than anticipated can be frustrating, but please know that we cannot control the weather as much as we wish we could. We always err on the side of caution so as not to have sealer splatter all over your home’s siding and all together avoid a much bigger headache than just having your driveway rescheduled. We have been in this industry for over 20 years and we value our customers over putting money in our pockets for the day - which you’d think would be appreciated. Rescheduling and canceling jobs on top of the hundreds of phone calls piling in a day with customers wondering when they will be put on the list adds on to the frustration that we are all already feeling with the unpredictable weather making our jobs harder. To put the cherry on top of it all, our season started an entire month late due to the current pandemic that the world is in and the mandate that Governor Cuomo had set.
