Dear Friends, After what has clearly been a very strange and unprecedented year, we can see that 2020 has both closed some old doors and opened some new ones for most of us. Perhaps we should start taking a closer look at the new doors that have been opened for us. I see 2020 as the year of new opportunities. We've had some time with our thoughts, some time to reflect and some time to adjust to the changes. The winners will be those who figure out how to make the best of thes...e times, and perhaps to finally work on some of those projects we set aside for a later time. Why not now? For those who were contemplating purchasing a home in Brooklyn, Queens and even in Manhattan, the time has never been better. Interest rates fell to new lows, new inventory came on the market, home prices leveled out, sellers became much more reasonable when selling, and buyers have been presented with many new opportunities. I would love to discuss some of these with you. For those who were interested in selling their homes, this is a great time to do so. Buyers are motivated. Many were forced to spend more time in their current homes and have decided to make a change (upgrade or downgrade), and some even decided to take advantage of great rates, and invest in a second home or an investment property.
