MUST BE AN EXPERIENCED BATHER. NO PHONE CALLS. Applicant must be friendly and have a neat appearance. Must be responsible and able to work flexible hours. Schedule is done based on salon need. Hours are part time leading to full time. This position can lead to either a full time floating position or a full time position in one department. We are a growing salon.... Must be able to lift 50 pounds alone. Must be able to stand for long periods. Must know dog breeds and how to handle pets safely. Bathing experience is preferred but at least some professional animal care experience is preferred. Salary depends on experience. Bathing duties include but are not limited to bathing, prepping and drying pets according to their need. Identifying issues with pets, cleaning salon, assisting stylists etc. Reception duties include but are not limited to answering phones, scheduling for groomers and bathers, selling products, maintaining files, client service, photo management etc. We will either hire one fill time candidate to float or two part timers to grow into full time.
