God is in the business of transformational change. He is the original fixer upper of people! We love watching stories of renovation and recovery, but it’s another story when we’re talking about undergoing a process of change in our own lives. We find so many examples of transformation throughout God’s Word. As believers, we are in the process of God transforming us into His image and likeness. Transformation is a necessary part of God’s work in us. Take a moment in God’s presence today to be still and surrender yourself to the work of transformation.

God whispers in your ears and reminds you to trust who He is. He is the God who showed the moon where to hide until evening. The one who made the walls fall with a shout. The God who turned the sea into a highway. The one who blanketed the morning grass with bread from the heavenly storehouse. He is the God who heals, raises the dead to life, and holds time in his mighty hands. That is the God you serve. Sometimes the field you are standing in seems so vast and wide and this difficult season seems so long. You wonder how much longer you can smile and keep going. But just know that the obstacles you have been encountering are making you stronger. In the moments of struggle, remind yourself that God is faithful and his love is everlasting. Remember who you are, who you serve, and how big our God is.
We can have peace and joy if we intentionally invite God to help us with our thoughts. We don’t have to spend life being bitter and negative and stuck in pessimism, whether because of the current situation, hard circumstances that lay ahead, or simply the small struggles and frustrations of everyday life. Our hearts lighten when we surrender our negativity and commit to trusting God through the storm. We have the power within us, through Christ, to choose to be positive despite our circumstances. God has given us a spirit of love, power and self discipline. We merely have to make an intentional effort to do so. And when we do, our whole perspective and outlook completely change. Our circumstances may stay the same, but over time our thoughts and our heart will not.

Join us tomorrow for worship and get ready to be a part of something big! Sunday Worship 10am online, in person, or drive in, we can't wait to see you! "He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" Mark 16:15
Wonderful Counselor. Jesus didn’t just offer hope and healing in societally-approved places. He took His ministry outside the synagogue and sought out the lost, the hurting, and the broken, especially those cast aside by society. What a blessing we have in a Wonderful Counselor who meets us right where we are. God became human, choosing to experience every aspect of life for Himself. In Jesus, we not only have someone who can empathize with our struggles, but someone who’s al...ways ready and willing to walk through them with us. As we celebrate Christmas, let’s remember that we don’t have to face life alone. Spend time connecting and getting honest with Jesus, our Wonderful Counselor. Seek Him in God’s Word and rest assured that He is faithful and will draw near to you. In Him you will find wisdom, discernment, and revelationthere’s no answer that can’t be found in Jesus! See more
As Christians, we are supposed to reflect the love of Christ through our daily deeds so that others may be attracted to God. If we build up our faith resources through daily contact with Him using prayer and scripture reading, then we will have the potential to make good choices and become better witnesses for Jesus. At times, the world around us can be a dark and frightening place, but with Christ’s light shining from His people, the world can be transformed into a place of healing and help, light and love.

The promise is not that pain and tragedy will magically flow around us, but that ultimately nothing can separate us from the reach of our God’s arms, from His love. We live in the shelter of the Most High; we rest and find comfort in the shadow of the Almighty. We do not fear because the all-powerful God of heaven and earth is here with us, walking alongside and in front of us and behind us. We’re safe in God’s care, and He is always with us.
We can't wait to welcome you this morning for worship at 10am! In person, online, or drive-in, come and see what God has in store for you this morning. See you soon!

We serve the same God as Joshua. The challenge to be strong and courageous, is God’s challenge to believer’s today. God’s presence, protection, are available to all believers in Christ. It is still God’s desire for every believer to read, obey, meditate, and do what the Bible says. We are commanded to tell others about our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. This is where our battle begins. We must go in the power of the Holy Spirit, with strength and courage.
All of us long to be acknowledged. We long to know that we are significant, and to have others know it, as well. That desire is not necessarily wrong. The key to a biblical, Christian view of glory is paying close attention to what God says about seeking it. The Bible teaches us to quit struggling so hard to make it happen, and trust God to exalt us at the right time and place as He sees fit. As used in Scripture, "humility" does not mean weakness or self-hatred. It means a ...proper appreciation of how we are, in relationship to God. It means strength under control. As C.S. Lewis said, "Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less." Scripture reminds us that we are not humbling ourselves under the hand of our human authorities. No, we are willingly humbling ourselves under the hand of God. When the proper time comes, He will exalt us either here, or in the life to come, or both, to some extent. Our willingness to serve, to make ourselves nothing, isn't a declaration that we are, in fact, insignificant. Our humility in service is a declaration that our mighty God can be trusted to give us all the acknowledgement and recognition that we long for when time is right.
Wednesday/ Friday devotional
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Col. 3:15 Have you ever had one of those days when there was so much confusion whirling around your head that you felt like screaming, STOP? On these days, your temptation is probably either to react to someone in an ugly way or to get depressed, go to bed, and forget about it all. However, you know that neither choice will help you solve the problems you are fa...cing. Rather than throw in the towel and give in to these emotions that want to get the best of you, why not stop and make a decision to let the Word of God rule you? If you don’t make this decision, worry, fear, insecurity, doubt, and a whole host of other emotions will assuredly try to take control. And there is no worse roller-coaster ride than when you are being knocked all over the place by emotions that are out of control! Notice the word rule in this verse. It is from the Greek word brabeuo, which in these times was used to describe the umpire or referee who moderated and judged athletic competitions. Paul uses this word to tell us that the peace of God can work like an umpire or referee in our hearts, minds, and emotions. When detrimental emotions attempt to exert control over us or try to throw us into an emotional frenzy, we can stop it from happening by making the choice to let God’s peace rise up from deep inside us like an umpire or referee to moderate our emotions. As we do, divine peace begins to rule in our hearts and make all the decisions instead of fear, anxiety, and worry. Let God’s supernatural peace dominate and govern every emotion and situation that confronts you.

We sing it in our worship songs, read it over and over in the Scriptures. God is faithful, He has done great things. We don’t argue that. And yet, do we outr...ight live in it? Do we operate our day to day lives giving praise for His faithfulness to us, for all the great things He has done? In the midst of our trials, in the thick of the battle, in our heartache, in our sickness, in our loneliness, in our frustration, do we stop to praise Him and remind ourselves of all the wonderful things God has done? It may not change our situation, but it certainly will begin to change our response to the situation. It CAN change our mindset and our attitude. Thank God for His goodness to you, and to others, in the midst of your storms. He is faithful. He has, and will continue to do, wonderful things! See more
It's not too late to sign up! We are still looking for a few more decorated cars to help out with our Drive-thru Trunk-or-Treat on October 31, 1-3pm. Click here to let us know you'd like to help: https://forms.gle/Ehn3rLRxsiZSzJBT9
Lord, my strength and Savior, let my words and actions praise you. Through Your grace, teach me to guide my lips, so I do not speak evil. Let my actions, and my words, be pleasing to You. Help me to embrace Your Word and rest in Your strength. Lord, guide me, so the meditations of my heart, and my thoughts are righteous and pure in Your sight. Lord, you are my rock, my redeemer.
