Falcons Named by Newsday as Top Athletes on Long Island Congratulations to Locust Valley Falcons Laine DeNatale, Elizabeth Gresalfi, Jenna Halpin, Ben Ferrara, ...Sean Murphy and Luke Paniagua for being named by Newsday as the top Long Island high school athletes. Laine, a junior, was named among the top 100 girls soccer players. She had 15 goals last season and has already committed to play for Wake Forest in 2022. Senior Jenna Halpin and junior Elizabeth Gresalfi were named among the top 100 field hockey players. Jenna scored 22 points during the fall season last year, with Elizabeth close behind scoring 19 points, achieving hat tricks against two opposing teams. Jenna, an All-Long Island first-team member, will go on to play for Johns Hopkins University this fall. Seniors Ben Ferrara, Sean Murphy and Luke Paniagua were each named as top 100 football players. Ben ran for 1,100 rushing yards and scored 10 touchdowns last year. Sean made 20 catches for 300 yards, and scored three touchdowns during the 2019 season, as well as making 66 tackles. Luke also had 300 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He is also credited with 97 tackles.

Help A Local Family In Need ~ As many of you may be aware, one of our families experienced a tragic loss this week. We lost the father of a 4th grade and 11th grade student very suddenly. The family is devastated by this loss and could use the support of our community to help them through this devastating time.
