Lycée Français de New York

Last night, we celebrated the Lycée’s 2021 virtual gala. After a year of unprecedented challenges, we took the opportunity to come together, tous ensemble, to celebrate our resilience, to celebrate still being Lycée Strong. And who better to honor in this moment than Dr. Sylvie de Souza ‘81, a Lycée alumna, a Lycée parent, and Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital. Dr. de Souza is Lycée to the core, and a shining light in the community. Indeed, this community is all of us, and we thank you for joining us last night in an incredible celebration of our students, faculty, staff and families, all standing together to support the Lycée.

Did you know that March 23 was national puppy day? Our first graders did! Under the guidance of teacher Ashley Benic, students celebrated by drawing pictures of rescued dogs at the Animal Cares Center of NYC - check out our Instagram account for more!
