On behalf of the L.F.B. Foundation Inc. of Syracuse, we thank you so very much. If you would like to tell us who you are, just sent message to this FB page. Merry Christmas.

Greetings. This message comes as no surprise. But The Magic of Oz and CNY IS the Land of OZ Tour will be canceled for October 2020. We hope to resume with a wonderful and magical tour next year. Stay home and stay safe.
Happy Birthday L. Frank Baum, author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. He was the seventh child born to Cynthia and Benjamin Baum, 1 mile outside Chittenango, NY on May 15, 1856. After Benjamin struck oil in Pennsylvania (1861) within one year the family moved from Chittenango to Syracuse (1862). L. Frank was 6 years old. By 1866 the Baum's also lived in the Town of Salina, now Mattydale, NY. where L. Frank (now 10 years old) could roam to his hearts content on 255 acre's of land. It has been said that L. Frank's "beloved childhood home" Rose Lawn, is very much like description of Munchkin Country (or) Munchkinland.
Greetings Oz fans. We have been asked about our tour in October. As much as we would love to have it, these months are when we fundraise. With the Coronavirus pandemic, people need their money or donate to food and needy. As they should. In New York State, the Governor has said there may not be a State Fair. ( August-September). Don't know if this will affect the Oz Club's Convention, in August in NY). You may have noticed the OzCon, Land of Oz Theme Park- June and July, Ozstravaganza, and others that have cancelled. We will keep you posted as to when New York State opens completely, and let you know if our tour will go on. Thanks for your understanding. Stay home and be safe. In the words of L. Frank Baum: "There is no place like home".
Attention to all Board Members! Our Board meetings for the next two months are cancelled. We can continue conversation via email. All new exhibits have been cancelled as well. Please take. And remember " there is no place like home."
