It's with great sadness that I would like to let everyone know that Arnold Zampi passed away this morning after a short illness. Arnie played trumpet with the... Lyncourt Community Band for the past several years. He was also a lifelong member of the Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps, having played with them since their inception in 1954. He also played with the Brigadiers Alumni Drum Corps and was a founding member of, and played with, the Brig Juice Mimi Corps. Playing music was one of Arnie's greatest joys and he loved his time playing with the Lyncourt Community Band. RIP

Sadly, today we say goodbye to the brilliant Italian composer Ennio Morricone. Many of us have had the pleasure of performing (at least sections of) his most memorable pieces. Rest in Peace Ennio. Thank you.

Congratulations to Syracuse Academy of Science High School graduates! Wishing you all the best for your next adventures! Musicians from all over the world joined the Syracuse Academy of Science High School Band and music teacher Lexi Carlson to record their instrument’s part for Pomp and Circumstance in order to create a graduation song that today’s seniors will remember. Nicely done Lexi.
