Lyons Road Trash Removal

With yesterday being a holiday, Lyons Road Trash customers that are Monday customers will have their trash picked up on Tuesday 9/8 for trash only. There will be no Monday recycling pick up this week. We are also picking up Tuesday trash and recycling customers today as well. Thank you.

Due to the July 4th holiday falling on Saturday this year, Lyons Road Trash will be open for regular business and will be picking up trash and recycling on Friday July 3rd and Monday July 6th like a normal week. If you have questions, please call our office at (315) 789-2979.

We will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day Weekend. All customers with Monday as their scheduled pick-up day will have their trash collected the following day, Tuesday the 26th. Tuesday customers will experience no changes. Collection of Monday recycling will be postponed to the following week, June 1st. We hope everybody has a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend, and enjoys the nice weather!

What started as a desire to offer an honest service to the local community, the DeLand family has developed generations of businesses that have been raised from the ground up by the same family on the same corner of land, right here on Lyons Road in Geneva, New York.... In 1947, Bud and Dorothy DeLand, along with Dorothy’s father, Ken Aikens, started Lyons Road Fruit Stand". After a successful start with the Fruit Stand, Bud opened "B & C Small Engine Repair", in a garage located next door. A short time later, the repair shop was combined with "Geneva Auto-Electric and remained a solid business for years. During the 1970’s, Bud and his two sons, Bernie and Billy, started another business, Lyons Road Ice Supply by building an ice house on the same property as the existing businesses. During the operation of the ice company, an opportunity arose for the family to start yet another new business, Lyons Road Trash Removal, and the DeLand’s didn’t look back. From humble beginnings the trash company has grown each and every year, from a one truck, two man operation, to a competitive and mature business with a full fleet of equipment and a band of hard working employees. All the while without forgetting to remain close to each customer, offering accommodations and a level of personal care and attention that other companies cannot.
