It was a beautiful, clear evening, and we had many (socially-distanced) guests on the lawn, as well as curious passersby who enjoyed our talented singers Diomarys Mendez, Jessica Philpot, Thalia Suleymanov, Raina Welch, Isaias Aragon, Joe Murphy and our wonderful pianist Dmitry Glivinskiy. Lyric Artists of New York is proud to announce its first concert of the 2020-2021 season (and Covid era). We need the arts for our souls to survive, and LANY will be providing! Songs at Sunset is an open-air, socially distanced concert of opera, art song, jazz and pop standards and will take place on Wed, Sept 30 at 6 pm inside Washington Park on the lawn and pathway in front of the Old Stone House in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The many talented singers performing will be accompa...nied by gifted pianist and conductor Dmitry Glivinskiy. The concert is free!
