June 27-30 fee $150 This camp is geared for advanced riders. ... There will be lots of trail obstacles and speed challenges. The versatility challenge will follow on sat July 1. At 10 am. Cow sorting clinic We are hosting 3 separate clinics at M & D Ranch. March 26, April 1, and April 2. The clinician is Gary Milewski. Cows will be hauled in. All disciplines and riding levels welcome. Whether your looking to exposed yourself and your horse to new things, cross train, expose babies, or are a seasoned rider just looking to learn new techniques and have some fun. M&D Ranch is now offering an advanced horse education program. This intense program will cover topics such as learning about genetics, show grooming, intense hoof care, different disciplines, breeds(different uses for each breed), trailer safety, barn safety, chiropractic, horse ownership, health care topics( colic, ulcers, first aid), and diet. Each week we will be covering a different topic. There will be assignments and homework . Kids must be 100% dedicated to this. This ...will not be a social hour. We will meet weekly and have speakers such as vets farriers chiropractors & Ia Nutrena rep along with traveling to different barns and the vet clinic. The cost will be $200 per kid. Learning supplies will be provided such as binders and worksheets. Meetings will be each Monday at the farm from 5:30 to 6:30 which will be subject to change come summer.
