Update on Pup- He is doing much better. His ribs are healing and he isn’t in the terrible pain that his ribs were causing. His ankle is still not healed though and he has to keep weight off it 6 more weeks. We will probably be reopening shortly after New Years. We will be having our gift card special for Christmas. Pups not much better. He’s still got a ways to go for healing. Physical therapy can’t really do anything with him either until his ribs heal. Everyday counts though, I’m just grateful he’s here with us. It could have been worse. Thank you all for you love and support. We couldn’t do it without you.

Update on Pup- He’s still in the hospital in Burlington. He still hurting bad in his ribs and ankle. It’s hard to move by himself because of the 9 rib breaks and where they are. He said he feels a little stronger but still far from his normal self. They want to send him out to a rehab facility but none around here either have the beds available or take the Medicaid the hospital helped me get him set up with. So they now want permission to check places anywhere in NY started f...or a bed. I said no frickin way. Not downstate NY. They are still battling high Covid numbers and we know they are short staffed. Pup was hoping today that they just leave him be about 5 more days and he thinks he’ll be strong enough to go home with a nurse coming here and therapy. My brother across the street has a spare room we could put a hospital bed in and fix it all up for him and it’s easier to get in his house. He already has a lower porch with a ramp already. She’ll be calling back early tomorrow. She calls me everyday To stress me out. One day at a time. See more

Pup Update- He’s still in the hospital. He’s having a hard time breathing and moving from all the broken ribs because they are broken in more than one place place per rib. His ankle and leg had surgery and that’s painful too but the ribs are his biggest problem right now. He’ll be going to a rehab center for a few weeks once he’s discharged. Hopefully closer to home. Thank you all for asking about him and for your love n support n prayers.

UPDATE ON PUP- He had his surgery yesterday to repair his ankle and the lower leg that goes into the ankle. He’s still in Burlington and can’t wait to go home. He’s probably going to a rehab for therapy first. He’s hurting but still his stubborn self He said to thank everyone for all their love, support and prayers.
