Makeup X Babz

Words cannot describe how incredible Babz was to work with on my wedding day. As a wedding photographer’s wife, I have heard horror stories about hair and makeu...p running so late that the ceremony has to be cut short or there is no time left for pictures beforehand. My husband assured me that he had worked countless times with Babz, and knew that timing would never be an issue, and most importantly the girls would look amazing. From the day I scheduled my trial I knew she was the perfect choice as my makeup artist for the wedding. Babz listened to all of my suggestions and changes that I wanted, and she never once made me feel like she wouldn’t let me have input in the way I wanted to look on my wedding day. I brought photos for inspiration and she flawlessly applied my makeup exactly the way I had envisioned. She even acted as my therapist when I started panicking about the impending snowstorm the day of the wedding and calmed me down before I cried off my lashes! I am not kidding when I say that my makeup lasted from sun up to sun down. From crying during our vows, to dancing all night, to kisses and hugs with everyone, to taking photos in the falling snow at the end of the night, it could have probably lasted me into the honeymoon if I didn’t have to take a shower the next day. Babz and Jess did a wonderful job of making my bridesmaids, mom, and grandma feel beautiful and fabulous. Babz is super easy to work with and it felt more like having a friend in the bridal suite than with a hired makeup artist.
