Get to know Emily LaRuffa, our new General Manager! Emily grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut and moved to The Big Apple in 2010. Her favorite food memory is eating the infamous cheeseburgers with crispy cheese and the ‘to die for’ chocolate peanut butter ice cream at Shady Glen in CT. She’s excited by the energy and constant evolution here and says the best part of her day in the sky is sharing experiences side by side her team. When she’d not in the clouds, you can catch her jamming out to country tunes like Marc Cohn’s ‘Walking in Memphis’ or cooking all things pasta (alfredo, bolognese, you name it!) at home for family Sunday dinners.

Acclaimed bartender and mixologist, Osvaldo Vazquez (@bitterandbarrel), is bringing three of his signature cocktails and flavors of Mexico to the sky on Wednesday, 2/12 starting at 5pm. Osvaldo and our Head Bartender, @ryanp_welliver, will shake things up behind the bar for this one-night-only pop-up. Plus, Chef Barbara Garcia of @heytacocina (@ushgnyc’s taco stand in Williamsburg’s Domino Park), will team up with Chef @jason.pfeifer to cook up specialty tacos and tostadas. Food and beverage specials will be available at the bar and in the lounge. No tickets required, walk-in revelry welcome!
