Dear Maplebrook Alumni, We hope you and your families are safe during these uncertain times. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, MBS has made the difficult decision to postpone all special events scheduled for the School through June. As of this point, there hasn't been an official decision about the remainder of the school year or Alumni Weekend in August. I have had several conversations with Kim LaManna, the Alumni Association President among others, who have been ver...y helpful as usual. Plans are being developed, but the health and safety of both our alumni and staff is our first priority. Regardless, we will continue to follow all the guidelines established by state health authorities regarding social distancing. Alumni Weekend is an amazing celebration of our Maplebrook community, The decision as to whether we are able to hold this event which includes the Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony will largely depend on executive orders and guidelines from the State of New York regarding restrictions on public gatherings. We will make sure to notify you once we have made an official decision. Thank you to all of our alumni for your continued support of MBS. Due to the impact of COVID-19, we have decided that it would be best to cancel our annual 5K scheduled for Sunday, April 5th. We know that you understand and look forward to your support in 2021. Be well and healthy!!
