Meet Tanish, a 13-year-old Kumon Student. After enrolling in Kumon at the young age of six, he not only advanced in school, but also developed a love for reading. Before entering seventh grade, he reached the huge milestone of completing the Kumon Reading Program. Tanish has found his Kumon journey to be rewarding and learned to keep working through any challenges he may face. Outside of the classroom, you can find Tanish on the basketball court, snowboarding, and participati...ng in spelling bees. His passion for basketball goes beyond the court. One day, he hopes to play professionally for the NBA or to become a sports analyst. Tanish was one of 155 students from Canada, USA and Mexico who attended the Virtual Kumon Student Conference in 2020. Tanish and the other students had the opportunity to be inspired and motivated by Kumon Ambassadors, who are former top Kumon Students who are now excelling in their careers and extracurricular pursuits.

Meet Albert, a Kumon Math Program Completer who has accomplished so much. From running two half-marathons, to being in accelerated classes, and qualifying for a state chess championship, Albert has shown persistence and hard work through it all. Albert has truly enjoyed his experiences in Kumon and mastering many math concepts. He aspires to become an Aerospace Engineer or a similar career that involves a lot of math and physics. Congratulations to Albert for being one of 155 students selected from Canada, USA, and Mexico to attend the 2020 Kumon Student Conference. We look forward to applauding and celebrating more of Albert’s accomplishments academically and beyond!
