You are invited to an End-of-Term Celebration for veteran students. The week before finals is stressful. So, take a break, relax, refuel. Just hang out for a few minutes. There will be food and beverages. Where: Lowell Thomas 020 When: Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018... Time: 11:00 am - 1:45 pm. We have received notice that one of our undergraduate Chapter 33 dependent students has a parent who is deployed. In ways that you know best, deployment over the holidays is tough for both the service member and the family. In keeping with the Marist Mission and in the name of the Marist Student Veterans Organization, we will be collecting donations for a care package to be sent to the service member. If you wish to donate an item appropriate for a deployed male service member, please bring an item to the Celebration on Dec. 5. We will also have a card to go to the family, should you wish to express your support. If you know of any other service members who would like a care package, please let me know and I will make it happen. The members of the Marist veteran community have always stood for one another in times of need. You have my deepest gratitude.
