Hi friends! It's not too late to sign up for my Fall baby and toddler music classes. I have added classes in Sag Harbor, Southampton and Bridgehampton to accomodate more families, including those coming out from the City on weekends. Here's my Fall class schedule: CMEE (Bridgehampton) - Mondays from 9:30 - 10:15. October 3 - December 19. 12-week session is $290 (includes materials). Southampton Cultural Center - Wednesdays fom 3:45 - 4:30. September 14 - November 16. 10-wee...k session is $175 (includes materials). 10-week session is $275 (includes materials). $247.50 (10% discount) if you sign up before September 1. Thanks to my duet partner, Ellen Johansen, on Friday I took my first "master class" in over 20 years as Julian played with Ellen's adoring husband in the next room. Julian was wonderful and the master class was transformative. Master teacher and noted pianist, Blanche Abram, was gentle but poignant in her instruction, imparting that "pianists have to be magicians to make a beautiful sound." Making music for Blanche with my son playing soundly (yes, pun intended!) in the next room was indeed magical for me.

NEW TODDLER MUSIC CLASS STARTS MARCH 30, 2016! I'm offering a new SING WITH ME! toddler music class starting on Wednesday, March 30. This is an 8-week parent-child Musikgarten program that will meet from 3:45-4:25 on Wednedsays from March 30 - May 25 (there will be no class on April 27). This class is for toddlers ages 15-36 months and will focus on traveling mvement, dancing, rocking activities, active listening, tonal and rhythmic patterns, singing, and instrument explora...tion. Classes will be held at the Southampton Cultural Center at 25 Pond Lane in Southampton, New York. Tuition for the 8-week program is $175 (including the cost of materials).
